Ora Marguerite (Stewart) Hotson, age 87, passed away peacefully at the Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on July 17, 2015. She was born, February 9, 1928, daughter of the late William and Ruth Hotson. In 1948 she married Murray Hotson at Avonbank United Church and the couple farmed in Downie Township all of their lives until their retirement. Beloved wife of the late Murray Hotson who predeceased her in 2006. Loving mother of Gwendolyn Dykeman, Nancy Hotson, Janet Roger (John) and Ian Hotson (Linda). Grandmother of Carolyn O’Donnell (Kevin) and great grandmother of Owen and Jack. Also survived by a sister-in-law Muriel Sheldon and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son-in-law Les Dykeman, a grandson Jonathan Dykeman and four sisters Lila, Edna, Nora and Barbara. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, July 22, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 am.
