We’ve had our first tornado of the year and it wasn’t all that far from Stratford. Environment Canada says it touched down near Clifford Wednesday afternoon.
It was roughly 3.5 kilometres long and 200 metres wide with wind speeds around 170 km/h.
Some damage was reported in the area. Three grain bins were blown off their cement bases, a barn was severely damaged, and a number of trees were broken.
