A former Stratford man has been named the Ontario Hockey Association’s top referee prospect. His name is Chris Chapman.
Chapman, who’s 24-years-old, now lives in London. The OHA says he began officiating in 2008 after playing in the GOJHL for Waterloo, Cambridge, and Listowel.
He joined the OHA staff in 2014 as a linesman and was promoted to referee in 2016. Chapman also serves as a linesman in the Ontario Hockey League.
