Stratford is getting over 2-point-4 million dollars in government funding to resurface Erie Street.
President of the Treasury Board Liz Sandals says the money comes from the Connecting Links program.
Sandals announced the funding at the Stratford Hotel on Friday.
Owner Connie King says good condition roads are important for the tourism economy in Stratford.
King says business owners are pleased to see investment in area highways.
