Pettapiece opposes provincial budget

The Wynne Government brought down its budget yesterday.

Randy Pettapiece is not impressed.

The Perth-Wellington MPP says it’s all politics and no progress.

Tim Hudak vowed the PC party would vote against the budget even before it was presented.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says the budget presentation confirmed his leader’s instincts.

He says it’s just another tax and spend budget.

However, he doesn’t know if it will pass since he can’t predict the NDP’s next move.

Pettapiece says there’s another file the Liberals failed to act on.

NDP leader Andrea Horvath wants to take a look at it first before she decides her next move.

If the NDP votes against the budget, it will trigger a spring election.
