A drunk driver nabbed by an OPP RIDE program has led to the arrest of a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Police say two suspects took off on foot after entering the RIDE program’s area, leading to a chase into the woods in North Perth.
Officers from the Perth, Huron and Wellington County OPP along with other first responders were able to track down the two in sub-zero temperatures.
A 32-year-old Loyalist Township woman is facing charges of flight from police, drug possession, theft and driving while disqualified.
The man wanted in the Canada-wide warrant will stay in custody until his court date.
