The race is now officially on for who will be Stratford’s next mayor.
Tom Drake officially filed his papers to run for the position on Tuesday, joining incumbent Dan Mathieson who is seeking his fifth term as mayor.
The municipal election is October 22nd.
The deadline for submitting a nomination for the 2018 municipal and school board election is this Friday at 2 p.m.
