Woodstock Police are warning parents about tampered Halloween candy.
They say they got a report on Saturday from the father of a three-year-old child who said he came across the tampered candy while he was inspecting candy collected in the city on Halloween night.
Police say a 4 cm yellow-tipped sewing needle was found contained within a partially torn Rolo candy bar.
No one was injured in the incident and the Criminal Investigation Bureau is looking into what happened.
Parents and children are reminded to check Halloween candy thoroughly.
