Leo William Stock, born June 11, 1963, passed into the Lord’s arms Wednesday, December 19th, 2018, surrounded by loving family. Predeceased by parents Leo J. and Marion (Buscher) Stock and brother John Stock. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed. He lost his 10 month long and courageous battle with cancer. Survived by wife Debbie (Masters) Stock and children: Lucas and Maria (Kolkman) Stock, Jacqueline, Eric, Valerie, Rachel and Leo S. Stock. Leo is survived by his siblings; Sally (Graeme) Weaver, Mary (Rick) Horst, Theresa (Ron) Bisch, Linda Stock, Cathy (Ron) Meidinger and his sisters-in-law Cathy Stock, Jeri Lee (Pete) Nigh as well as his mother-in-law Sheila Bristow and his father-in-law Jerry Masters along with his many nieces and nephews. Leo was born just outside of Stratford and worked at Schaeffler Canada. He loved to go camping, canoeing and taking trips with his family. Growing up on the family farm gave Leo the uncanny ability to fix, even if it meant improvising, nearly anything. His faith and family were important to him. Always ready with a joke or a song, Leo was a great friend to many. At times, one could find Leo up in a tree enjoying the view. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Parish, Stratford where he volunteered with organizing All Saints Night, Church picnics, he was a Eucharistic Minister, and he held parish open houses and served on the St. Joseph Parish council. He also served on the decorating committee for many years. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G.
