An emergency food bank is set to open for pets in need in Perth County.
The Stratford Perth Humane Society is set to open an Emergency Pet Food Bank next Thursday in SPHS’ education room at 125 Griffith Road in Stratford.
Orders will be taken starting Thursday with pick-ups beginning next Thursday.
Members of the public seeking assistance with food and supplies are asked to place an order by calling the humane society.
Food will be packaged and pick-up instructions will be provided at that time.
SPHS also hopes to provide at least two weeks of supplies at a time, but this will depend on the volume of donations.
