St.Marys is taking a cautious approach to reopening outdoor amenities.
The municipality says it has re-opened its boat ramp, skatepark, and tennis/pickleball courts but has opted to keep all other outdoor sports facilities and outdoor picnic sites and shelters closed to discourage residents from gathering in large groups.
The St. Marys Quarry was set to open on June 13th but the opening has been postponed until July 3rd with Ontario still prohibiting the opening of outdoor water facilities.
An inflatable park that was planned for this year has been postponed until 2021.
