Stratford’s Al Fresco project is moving ahead.
Stratford’s Economic Response and Recovery Task Force says the project will provide outdoor dining space for 200 people in Market Square, Upper Queen’s Park and on Tom Patterson Island.
The spaces will feature 50 outdoor picnic tables supplied at a reduced cost by C.R. Plastic Products and assembled for free by Belfor Property Restoration.
The first round of tables is planned for the week of June 22nd in Market Square with work ongoing with local foodservice and restaurants to promote and animate the spaces.
Alcohol licensing continues to be explored in partnership with the AGCO.
