The Ontario Provincial Police West Region have a new Regional Commander.
The force has announced that Chief Superintendent Dwight Thib will be taking over the role.
They say he has spent his 39-year policing career in North East and North West Regions, where he began with the New Liskeard Police Service in 1982.
