There are close to 40 new COVID-19 cases in our region.
Updated data from Huron Perth Public Health shows 36 new cases were reported on Wednesday.
Twelve are in Stratford, eight are in North Perth, six are in St.Marys and there’s one case each in Perth East, Perth South and West Perth.
The rest of the cases are in Huron County.
There are eight outbreaks currently active in area schools as well as one at an unidentified workplace.
Across the region, there are 119 active cases.
