Garden bed to be restored at Stratford’s Shakespearean Garden

Stratford’s Shakespearean Garden is getting spruced up.

A local group named the Friends of the Shakespearean Garden say they are embarking on an exciting project to restore the 280-foot-long perennial garden bed at the site on Huron Road.

The Canadian Peony Society donated peony root stock clumps which will be planted in the garden, now in its 86th year.

The work to plant the root stock will start in the fall.
