Hospitals in our region are benefiting from over $3.4 million in provincial funding for emergency rooms and acute medical and surgical beds.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says the funding will help reduce emergency department wait times and expand bedded capacity locally.
Among the recipients is the Stratford General Hospital which will get a combined $2.81 million.

Mount Forest Louise Marshall: $150,000
Palmerston and District Hospital: $150,000
