Ross Lindsay Gregory

1940 – 2015

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the end of Ross’s life journey. After a mighty fight with cancer, Ross passed away peacefully with family by his side at Sakura House (Woodstock) on Friday March 13th 2015. Celebrating his life is his best friend and devoted wife of 52 years Katherine (Kate Blacker), his three loving daughters Lindsay (Peter) and their children Gregory and Ross, Marci, Kara (Ted) and their children Carson and Leah. Survived by his sister Reva Smith, his brother Roy (Anita), sister-in-law Frances (Zoli), brother-in-law Bill (Linda), sister-in-law Kathy along with many nieces and nephews. He also leaves many special friends and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Warren and Daisy (Lindsay) Gregory, a brother Rob Gregory, his mother-in-law and father-in-law William and Mary (Forrest) Blacker and his brother-in-law Doug Smith. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday March 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Ross’s wishes are that everyone please dress casual. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to VON Sakura House, LHSC Melanoma Cancer Research or Stratford/Perth Hospice Project through the funeral home.
