It’s Discovery Week in the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.
Starting today the organization is welcoming 29 first-year medical students from London’s Schulich School at UWO. The students will be spread out at all four HPHA hospitals.
Stratford General will be hosting 17 over the four day program. Discovery Week is a mandatory placement for Schulich School students.
It gives them the opportunity to shadow family physicians and learn what happens in their typical work day.
