School board putting library cards in the hands of all their students.

The Avon Maitland District School Board is teaming up with the Huron County Library and all Perth Public Libraries.

They want to put a library card in the hands of every Avon Maitland student.

Each student is going to get an application form next month.

The cards will allow students to access library resources both on their own time and during class through use of the internet.

To kick things off students who already have cards will also be given a one-time forgiveness for all overdue fines.
