Save VIA is looking to put together a parade to support passenger rail service in our area. The plan is still in the very early stages.
Save VIA founder Chris West says the idea would be to leave from the Grand Trunk closed station and follow a route to the current station. They’d want to arrive in time for the afternoon trains.
The tentative date for the parade is September 16th. West says they’ll release more details as the plan solidifies.
