The Ontario government is giving a financial boost to home care in our area.
$8.2 million will be invested in the South West Local Health Integration Network.
Of that money $6.6 million is going to expand services for clients with the highest support needs.
$1.6 million will be for providing respite services for caregivers that need it the most.
Deputy Premier Deb Matthews was in Stratford to make the announcement on Wednesday.
It’s part of a $100 million province-wide boost to home care.
