The Huron County OPP says old habits die hard when it comes to leaving keys in vehicles.
Nearly a year ago they asked residents to take some proactive steps to prevent their vehicles from being stolen. The Huron County OPP says some people just aren’t getting the message.
Since August 1st they’ve investigated 13 stolen vehicles and in all but one case the keys were left inside. The OPP says chances are these vehicles would not have been stolen had their keys been secured.
