The United Way is looking for some businesses to Paint the Town Red.
It’s a new event to help the organization hit this year’s $1.3 million campaign goal.
During the last weekend of November, businesses that sign up will feature a product or service and donate a portion from that, or they can donate a percentage of daily sales during the three days.
The event is not only a way to raise money for the United Way, but to also encourage people to go local during the Christmas shopping season. Any businesses interested in signing up for Paint the Town Red can find more details at the United Way’s website.
