Mike Maloney of RR#5 Stratford, passed away peacefully, at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the age of 75. Born in Dublin, Ontario,                                                      son of the late Elizabeth (nee Murray) and Wilfred Maloney. Beloved husband of Barbara Maloney (nee   Connelly) for 52 years. Loved father of Liz Yundt (Fred), Lori Maloney, Lynda Maloney (Joe Saunders) and Molly Maloney (William Brown). Proud grandpa of his seven grandchildren; Annalise, John and Joe Yundt, Maddie Young, Amelie and Owen Saunders and Quinlin Maloney. Dear brother of Marion Kelly and Beatrice Fadden. Also survived by his Godchildren; Joe Kelly, Tim Turner and Barbara Murray as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Joey, Ray and Steve.  Family and friends may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, November 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. and at the funeral home on Thursday, November 17 from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Sharpe officiating. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the private family interment in Avondale Cemetery.
