A man is facing charges after test driving a car in St. Marys. That’s because the OPP says he stole it.

Last Monday the OPP says the man took the car for a ride from a Queen Street West business but never brought it back. Four days later he was arrested.

The 34-year-old has been charged not only with stealing the car but with two counts of breaking probation and drug possession. The car, a brown Ford Taurus with licence plate number 425 DNR, has yet to be found.

If you know anything about this theft you’re asked to call the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 393-6123 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
