The YMCA is trying to help parents set a better example for their kids.
The Stratford and St. Marys locations will be opening their doors for free this Sunday for National Healthy Kids Day.
The YMCA says a recent report shows that 85 per cent of parents find it difficult to be a healthy role model, while 35 per cent of respondents didn’t think their kids got enough physical activity.
The St. Marys location will be open from noon to 2:00pm and the Stratford Y will be open from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday with a number of activities planned such as open swims. Get in touch with the YMCA for more details.
