A few local organizations are getting some money from the provincial government.
The funding is through OMAFRA’s Rural Economic Development program.
Up to $20,000 is coming to the City of Stratford. It’ll be spent on coming up with a plan to grow the city’s digital media industry.
A company in Perth South, Scenic Holsteins, is getting some money as well.
They’ll receive up to $146,260 to develop the first on-farm artisanal raw milk cheese processing facility in Ontario.
