The finishing touches could be about to be done on the City of Stratford’s 2024 budget.
At their regular meeting Monday night, Stratford City Council will vote on adopting the budget which currently includes a property tax increase of about 7.5 per cent compared to 2023.
For a single-detached home with an assessed value of $350,000, the increase works out to an additional $395 on the annual tax bill.
The meeting starts at 7 o’clock at Stratford City Hall and it’s open to the public.
