Huron County OPP says an incident in Exeter turned out to be an unfounded hostage situation.
Multiple officers were called out to an address on Main Street South between John Street and James Street on Friday.
Several roads were closed in the area and, after the situation was determined to be unfounded, they reopened with no charges laid.
Last Thursday, police say they were called to the same where a search warrant was executed and one person was arrested without incident.
