Stratford Public Library handing out free viewing glasses for April eclipse

Here’s a free and safe way to take in the solar eclipse happening early next month.
While supplies last, the Stratford Public Library is giving out free certified solar eclipse glasses that can be worn to view the sun on Monday, April 8th.
Officials say Stratford will experience a partial solar eclipse with 99.1 per cent of the sun being covered.
The glasses can be picked up at the library and are limited to one pair per family.
You can also find a curated list of online viewing options and supplementary resources that are aimed at enriching the eclipse experience on the library’s website.
