An update is on the way on the next steps of the renewal of the Grand Trunk site in Stratford.
The city’s Ad Hoc Grand Trunk Renewal Committee is hosting four community events this spring to engage the public on the vision and guiding principles for the 18-acre site in downtown Stratford.
The first occurs on Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Rotary Complex.
Melanie Hare with the committee says they want engagement in the area’s future.
“This is an enormous site and an enormous opportunity in Stratford’s downtown, I’m an urban planner and I work coast to coast, this is an opportunity most cities would be very happy to have in their lap.”
