Negotiations have wrapped up between the union representing employees including teachers and educational assistants at local public schools in the area and the school board.
Officials with the Avon Maitland District School Board say negotiations have concluded with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation.
If ratified, the tentative agreements would complete the local portion of the two-pronged contract talks, as per the School Board Collective Bargaining Act.
The central portion of the agreement is currently in the provincial arbitration process.
