A mobility scooter driver suffered minor injuries after a fall near Stratford Country Club early Monday afternoon.
Stratford Fire Chief Neil Anderson said firefighters assisted paramedics after the mobility scooter went off the edge of the sidewalk on Romeo Street, across from River Gardens Retirement Residence.
There is a small hill, from the sidewalk on to the grass below, in the area.
Anderson said the scooter was uprighted and operable and the male’s daughter, who was also with him, assisted him to get home.
The female was not injured.
