Bill Baxter, 78, of Mitchell passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, December 23, 2014.

Beloved husband of Mary Baxter. Dear father of Robert Baxter, Kathy Belfour and Ray, Doug Baxter and Nancy. Loving grandfather of Jeremy Baxter and Heather, Lesley Upshall and Dave, Jessica Belfour, Dallas Belfour and Cass, and Shawnee Baxter. Cherished great grandfather of Brayden, Julia, Emma and Danna. Dear brother of Joyce Petrie. Dear brother-in-law of Jean Davey and Helen Waddell and Bob. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his sister Joan Savelle, a sister in infancy and brothers-in-law Gerry Petrie and Ken Davey.

Friends are invited to join Bill’s family in celebrating his life at the Lockhart Reception Centre, 116 Montreal St., Mitchell on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Mocha Shriners Transportation Fund – London or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences atwww.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
