Avian flu has been found on a turkey farm near Woodstock.
Reports say preliminary tests by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have confirmed its presence.
According to the CFIA quarantine has been put in place for that farm and its neighbour.
The agency is reminding people that proper cooking and handling of poultry eliminates the risk of avian flu to humans.
