A team effort to strengthen Stratford’s tourism economy is underway. It’s called the Stratford Tourism Destination Development Project.
The goal is three-fold: strengthen tourism, foster community engagement and alignment, and ensure Stratford’s destination brand.
It’s a collaborative effort between the city, the Stratford Tourism Alliance, Regional Tourism Organization 4, the Stratford Festival and local tourism industry and key industry stakeholders.
They’re working with Vancouver-based Destination Think!
A release from the City of Stratford today says the project officially kicked off in early May. Its next steps will include meetings, workshops and research with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the community-at-large.
