Harvey Ahrens, 90, formerly of Brodhagen, passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Friday, May 6, 2016.
Beloved husband of the late Jean Ahrens. Dear father of Phyllis Brady of London, Wayne Ahrens and Anita of Sulphur, Louisiana, Marilyn Buck and Douglas of Norwich and Steven Ahrens and Lisa of Brampton. Loving grandfather of Michael Brady and Sari, Craig Brady and Dani, Wesley and Bradley Ahrens, Daniel Buck and Megan, Christopher Buck, Hayden and Katelyn Ahrens. Cherished great grandfather of Finn Brady. Dear brother-in-law of Helen Lockridge of Watford. Also surviving are his many nieces, nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Elizabeth Ahrens, an infant son, brother Martin Ahrens, sisters Irene Ahrens and Norma McNaughton.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
