Fred Scott, 92, of Waterloo and formerly of Stratford and Mitchell passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care on Saturday, October 8, 2016.
Beloved husband of the late Audrey Scott. Dear father of Randy Scott and Agnes, Wendy Scott and Herb Demorest. Loving grandfather of Nicole Scott. Dear brother of Jean Oppenhauser, Yvonne Tinning, Mary Swindle and Don, Pat Patterson and Ron. Dear brother-in-law of Evelyn Scott.
Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Olive Scott, brother Ken Scott, sisters Ruth Millington and John, Dorothy Miller and Jim, Audrey Bridges and Nelson, brothers-in-law Keith Tinning and Earl Oppenhauser.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128, Mitchell; Army, Navy and Air Force, Unit #261, Stratford; or Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
