Stratford’s infrastructure, transportation, and safety committee approved a plan in principle to dedicate one hectare of the surplus land to the project Monday night.
The plan calls for 55 units to be built in two phases starting next year. Roughly half of the units will be rented at 80 per cent of market rate. The city will be putting out a request for proposals for the project as soon as possible.
