Grade seven and eight students from St. Alysius School are taking part in a new program aimed at learning more about our local environment in Stratford and coming up with ideas on how to protect and improve it.
The program is a partnership between the Upper Thames Conservation Authority, Stratford Motor Products, GM Canada and Earth Force.
From the UTRCA, Steve Sauder says today marks the first program of its kind in Canada.
The Global Rivers Environmental Education Network Program kicks off at 1:00pm at the T-J Dolan Park right here in Stratford.
