North Perth council says it will be looking into improving crosswalks in Listowel following a petition from concerned residents.
The concerns center around a number of the crosswalks which have poor visibility leaving no time for drivers to react should someone choose to cross quickly.
Concerns were raised on Wallace Avenue North’s crosswalk specifically.
Council says it will have to look at whether or not to bring in improved signage or lighting for the cross walks which pedestrians could activate.
