Minister of Canadian Heritage Melanie Joly will be in Stratford today for an infrastructure announced related to the proposed redevelopment of the Tom Patterson Theatre.
General Manager of the Stratford Festival Anita Gaffney sheds more light on what’s to come in today’s event.
She says the festival and the city have been working with the groups, organizations and clubs which use the Kiwanis Community Centre and are looking at renovations to the Agriplex moving forward.
The province has already committed $20 million to the project, with a spending deadline set for March of 2018.
Today’s meeting is set for 4:00pm in the Festival Theatre’s lobby.
