Stratford Police say they’ve handed out around 300 tickets for parking bylaw infractions since December.
Acting Deputy Chief of Police Sam Theocharis says it’s been impacting snow routes in local neighbourhoods, a concern the city’s Public Works department has also sounded off about.
He says you’re not allowed to park on city streets between 2:00am and 6:00am.
While the fines are in the $15 to $20 range, Theocharis says you risk being towed if you obstruct a snow route or a city entranceway.
Plows and sanders will out in full force tomorrow and Friday with more snow in the forecast.
