Decision day almost here in Ontario Election

Decision day is almost here.

The Ontario Election is Thursday and voters will head to the polls and make their decision as to who they feel will best lead the Perth-Wellington riding in the Legislature.

You can cast your ballot from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and you will need to bring your Voter Information Card that you got in the mail with you and one piece of identification that has your name on it or if you didn’t get your card you can bring one piece of identification that has your name and your current residential address on it.

Bilingual Communications Coordinator with Elections Ontario, Cara Des Granges, says you also need to remember which polling station you are supposed to go to.

“You’re supposed to go to that one specific one, so to find that information the easiest way is if you receive your voter information card in the mail, those are sent out to registered electors, you can check on the card it will tell you where your voting location is.”

If you didn’t get your Voter Information Card, you can go to the Elections Ontario website and enter your postal code to find out where you need to go.

We will have complete coverage on the Ontario election starting at 9 o’clock tonight on both 107.7 2day FM and 107.1 Juice FM.
