Heat warning remains in effect in Perth County

A heat warning for Perth County from the Perth District Health Unit that went into effect for the weekend remains in place.

Monday’s forecast is calling for a high of 29 with the humidex making it feel like 37.

There is a good chance of showers Monday afternoon with the risk of a thunderstorm as well.

Things are expected to be a bit cooler Tuesday with a high of 23 expected.

You’re reminded that seniors, infants and young children, especially with chronic diseases, are at a greater risk of suffering from heat related illnesses.
