Ontario’s first female Paramedic Chief is retiring.
That is just one in a long list of accomplishments for Chief Linda Rockwood, who has served 19 years in Perth County as the Director of Emergency Services and Chief of Paramedic Services.
Chief Rockwood was also awarded the Richard J. Armstrong Leadership Award by the Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs.
A retirement party will be held in mid-October in Stratford.
