The name of the victim killed in a collision between a transport truck and another vehicle northeast of Thamesford has been released.
Police say 17-year-old Tyler Arts from Zorra Township was killed in the collision which happened around 3 p.m. on County Road 84 in Zorra Township.
An investigation has determined that a car traveling westbound lost control and collided head-on with the transport truck which was traveling eastbound.
Arts was driving the car and police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
County Road 84, east of Line 25, was closed for several hours while emergency crews were at the scene.
An investigation into what happened continues.
