The Stratford community continues to show their support for those in need.
John Gray, an employee at Strickland’s Stratford Toyota, created “A Child’s Smile”, an initiative that collects money used to purchase toy’s for children who otherwise wouldn’t receive toys on Christmas.
It turns 30 this year and Gray says this has been their most successful year to date.
He tells My Stratford Now.com that over $11,000.00 was raised this year which lead to the purchase of 1,400 toys.
The toys will be distributed to local organizations including The Stratford House of Blessing, the Salvation Army, the Stratford General Hospital and Optimism Place.
