Bundle up if you are heading out tonight.
Environment Canada’s Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says the weekend will also be cold, “Tonight may actually be the coldest night we have seen this year. And then of course on the weekend we will get down to that as well with sustained cold temperatures not only overnight but also throughout the day Saturday and Sunday.”
How much snow southern Ontario will see is not yet known, “We will for sure get some northeasterly winds, that’s definite. We will probably get a little blowing snow depending on how much snow falls and we will get cold temperatures, that’s also for sure.”
Kimbell says park your plans to head stateside as the northern U.S. will see the brunt of the snow.
