A former Ontario Queen of the Furrow from our area is now at the top of the Ontario Plowmen’s Association.
During the OPA’s annual convention in Barrie last weekend, Sheila Marshall from St.Pauls was acclaimed as President of the organization.
Marshall was chosen as Ontario Queen of the Furrow in 1973 and represented the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo and the OPA at events across the province.
She’s on her second term on the board of the Queen of the Furrow program.
